Nonwoven Surface Conditioning Products

Compared to nonwoven satin materials, surface conditioning material is more durable, more aggressive and resists tearing on sharp edges or burs. Surface conditioning products are less aggressive and more forgiving than coated abrasives. They are compressible and conform to the work surface

Surface conditioning material has a scrim foundation on which a fibrous mesh is bonded to it. This mesh is comprised of nylon fibers, resin, and premium abrasive grain which gives the product its cutting action. The complex resin formulation combined with the open construction of the surface conditioning material enables these tools to be aggressive while reducing heat buildup caused by friction.
